Coney Island Prep (CIP) is a public charter school with a new vision for education.
Setting uncompromising expectations for all students, with the understanding that every student can succeed, its goal is to prepare every student for higher education and the career of his or her choice. The school fosters a positive, achievement-oriented school culture aimed at ensuring that its students internalize the school’s key values – professionalism, respect, integrity, determination, and excellence.
CIP opened its doors in 2009 with an enrollment of 90 students. Each consecutive year, another 5th grade class will be added until the school reaches full capacity with approximately 550 students in Grades 5-12.
CIP is looking to relocate their program into a larger facility that will accommodate its fast growing programmatic needs.
Jonathan Rose Companies’ Project Management practice has been engaged to provide real estate consulting services associated with this relocation. These services include lease negotiation, budget and schedule management.
