Owner's Representative—New York, New York

Downtown Alliance

The mission of the Alliance for Downtown New York (ADNY or Owner) is to provide service, advocacy, research and information to advance Lower Manhattan as a global model of a 21st century Central Business District for businesses, residents and visitors.

Founded in 1995, the Downtown Alliance manages the Downtown-Lower Manhattan Business Improvement District (BID), serving an area roughly from City Hall to the Battery, from the East River to West Street.

Lower Manhattan is now home to 800 technology, media, and information tenants and ADNY meets the needs of this growing creative community with Lower Manhattan HQ (LMHQ), a dynamic 12,500 square foot, technologically advanced, collaboration space (the Project or LMHQ). LMHQ provides a home for entrepreneurs with a full calendar of cutting-edge events, seminars and social opportunities, drawing an audience from throughout New York City and helping brand Lower Manhattan as a hotbed of innovation and creativity. Based upon a membership model, LMHQ will offer meeting rooms, flexible lounge space with open seating that can double as a 140-person event space with top of the line audio visual capabilities, a full coffee bar, and open workspace for hot-desking available to both companies and individuals to serve as a hub for the NYC creative ecosystem. Building connections with both domestic and international cities, LMHQ will be the welcome center for the creative industries throughout New York City and beyond.
