Jonathan F.P. Rose President, Jonathan Rose Companies
Mr. Rose founded Jonathan Rose Companies in 1989. Known as an innovator in green building and smart growth development, Mr. Rose has over 30 years of experience acquiring, developing and owning large scale multifamily and commercial properties. He provides daily strategic direction to the firm’s management team and chairs its Investment Committee. Mr. Rose is Vice Chair of Enterprise Community Partners and is a trustee of the Natural Resources Defense Council. Mr.Rose chaired the Metropolitan Transit Authority’s Blue Ribbon Sustainability Commission, which developed the nation’s first green transit plan. He also serves on the Board of the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and is an Honorary Member of The American Institute of Architects. Mr. Rose is a former partner of Rose Associates, a leading owner, developer and investor in New York City since the 1920s. Mr. Rose graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in Psychology and Philosophy and received a Masters in Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania. |

Thomas P. Loftus Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Loftus joined Jonathan Rose Companies in 2002 and has more than 25 years of real estate experience. He brings extensive expertise in financial administration as well as operations of real estate opportunity funds. As Chief Financial Officer, Mr.Loftus oversees all of Jonathan Rose Companies’ financing, as well as the firm’s accounting, treasury, information systems, risk management and human resources functions. He is a member of the firm’s Management Committee and Rose Investments’ Investment Committee. Prior to joining Jonathan Rose Companies, Mr. Loftus served as a senior officer at Tishman Speyer Properties, overseeing domestic and foreign financial staff. He served as Chief Administrative Officer and was instrumental in two portfolio mergers at Cornerstone Properties Inc., a NYSE-listed REIT subsequently sold to Equity Office Properties. He also coordinated the spin-off of Deutsche Bank’s real estate operations in the U.S. Mr. Loftus graduated Magna Cum Laude from Seton Hall University with his B.S. in Accounting and his M.B.A. in Finance. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Wendy Rowden Managing Director Ms. Rowden was appointed Managing Director of Rose Investments in 2009. She is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s investment management business, including acquisitions, financing, asset management, and investor relations. She is a member of the firm’s Investment and Management Committees, bringing more than 25 years of institutional real estate experience to her role. Prior to joining Jonathan Rose Companies, Ms. Rowden served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of the Rockefeller Group, the U.S. Subsidiary of Mitsubishi Estate Co., one of the largest real estate concerns in the world. Ms.Rowden is past president of WX. She is a former member of the Board of Trustees of Maimonides Medical Center and Safe Space NYC (where she served as Board Chair). She is also a former member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Cushman & Wakefield. A member of the Urban Land Institute (Women’s Leadership Initiative; Urban Development/Mixed Used Council), the Pension Real Estate Association (Green Building and Sustainability Group) and the Real Estate Board of New York (Economic Development Committee), Ms. Rowden is a frequent featured speaker on smart growth investments and the greening of existing buildings. She holds degrees from Brown University, University of Michigan and New York University.

Nathan D. Taft Director of Acquisitions Mr. Taft joined Jonathan Rose Companies in 2004. Mr. Taft oversees the Acquisitions Team in sourcing, financing, and closing portfolio properties. During his tenure, Mr. Taft has expanded the firm’s national brokerage and partnership networks and has managed the acquisition of more than $250 million of assets. Mr. Taft also has played an integral role in Rose’s effort to create national models of best practice in the greening of existing buildings. Mr.Taft brings financing, design, construction management, marketing and leasing skills to his investment work. His prior experience includes working for a double bottom line private equity fund at J.P. Morgan and leading public-private economic development partnerships for Yale University. He is a member of the Pension Real Estate Association as well as the Urban Land Institute, where he sits on the Responsible Property Investment Council. Mr.Taft earned his M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management and his B.A. in History from Yale University.

Greg Dwornikowski Director of Asset Management
Mr. Dwornikowski joined Jonathan Rose Companies in 2010. He leads the firm’s Asset Management Team, bringing 25 years of experience to his role. Mr. Dwornikowski has deep expertise in financial modeling, asset valuation, property management, marketing and leasing, and investor reporting. He also has significant experience in property acquisitions and dispositions, managing property repositioning, and securing financing. Prior to Jonathan Rose Companies, Mr. Dwornikowski served as Senior Vice President & Director of Asset Management at Pitcairn Properties, a prominent Philadelphia-based real estate owner, manager, and developer. There Mr. Dwornikowski oversaw the financial and operational performance of the company’s substantial national portfolio of institutional quality multifamily, office, and mixed-use assets. Mr. Dwornikowski holds an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.S. in Accounting from LaSalle University. He began his career with KPMG where he earned his CPA.

Virginia Plithides Director of Finance
Ms.Plithides joined Jonathan Rose Companies in 2010. She serves as Director of Finance for Rose Investments, as well as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer to the firm's Investment Manager. Ms.Plithides is responsible for fund budgeting, accounting, reporting, risk management, and compliance. She brings over 25 years experience and has been a Certified Public Accountant in New York since 1986. Prior to joining Jonathan Rose Companies, Ms. Plithides was the Controller of Red Stone Partners LLC, a private real estate finance company with a core focus on the multifamily industry. Ms.Plithides previously held several positions of increasing responsibility with Centerline Capital Group and its predecessor, Related Capital Partners. Her most recent role was Senior Vice President of the tax department. Ms.Plithides began her career at the accounting firms Blonder Seymour & Shapss and Bernstein & Berger. Ms.Plithides graduated with distinction from the University of Rhode Island with B.S. in Accounting.

Larissa V. Belova Director of Investor Relations
Ms.Belova joined Jonathan Rose Companies in 2012. She is responsible for marketing and investor relations. Ms. Belova brings over ten years of institutional real estate experience to her role, with expertise in investor relations, acquisitions, financing and asset management. Before joining Jonathan Rose Companies, Ms.Belova was Head of Investor Relations at the Praedium Group, a major real estate private equity firm. Prior to Praedium, Ms. Belova served as Vice President in the Asset Management Division of the New York City Economic Development Corporation, where she oversaw a large portfolio of commercial properties owned by the City of New York. She also spent six years at Lexington Realty Trust, where she was Vice President in the Acquisitions Department. She is a member of the Pension Real Estate Association, as well as the Urban Land Institute. Ms.Belova earned a B.A. in Government (Cum Laude) from Dartmouth College and a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.

Nicole Sherwood Asset Manager, Rose Investments and Executive Director, The Rose Urban Green New Market Tax Credit Fund
Ms. Sherwood is responsible for asset management of fund investments, including leasing, marketing, valuation, underwriting and management of capital programs. She brings experience in asset management, acquisition underwriting, and development of mixed-income, mixed-use projects. Committed to environmentally responsible development and urbanism, Ms. Sherwood is LEED Accredited and an active member of the Urban Land Institute. Prior to joining Jonathan Rose Companies, Ms. Sherwood worked as an analyst at Goldman Sachs and then as a Business Manager in Fannie Mae’s Credit Portfolio Strategies Group. Ms. Sherwood holds a MBA from the Harvard Business School (where she was a Robert Toigo Fellow) and a Bachelor of Arts, with honors, from Harvard College.

Ian Berman Asset Manager
Mr.Berman is responsible for asset management of fund investments, including leasing, marketing, valuation, underwriting and management of capital programs. Prior to joining Jonathan Rose Companies, Mr. Berman served as a Senior Development Manager for the Trammel Crow Company (TCC), managing the implementation of TCC's development plan for Fairfax City. Mr.Berman previously was a Project Engineer for Clark Construction, a Bethesda, MD based General Contractor, where he held roles in both cost-estimating and project management. Mr.Berman holds an MBA from Columbia Business School where he concentrated in Real Estate Finance. A LEED Green Associate, he received his Bachelor of Science and Engineering from Duke University.

Clayton J. McPhail Acquisitions Analyst
Mr. McPhail is primarily responsible for property underwriting and valuation. He is also tasked with deal sourcing, due diligence for new acquisitions, and various asset management duties. Prior to joining Jonathan Rose Companies, Mr. McPhail worked for Madison International Realty, a real estate private equity firm that provides joint venture and preferred equity for stabilized commercial real estate as well as liquidity to holders of partnership and member interests. Mr. McPhail also brings international experience to his role at Jonathan Rose Companies having worked for Frankfurt based Lohnbach Investment Partners, a German investment platform of the Soros Real Estate Investors Fund. Mr. McPhail earned a Master of Design Studies, Real Estate and Urban Development Concentration, from Harvard University. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Tennessee.

R.Tom Boonyasai Acquisitions Analyst
Mr. Boonyasai’s primary responsibilities include acquisition underwriting, asset management and deal sourcing. Immediately prior to joining Jonathan Rose Companies, Mr. Boonyasai worked for the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), where he provided investment analyses on commercial real estate assets owned by the City of New York and negotiated property sales, leases and workout agreements with private real estate developers. Prior to NYCEDC, Mr.Boonyasai was an investment analyst at Morgan Stanley, Lehman Brothers and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr.Boonyasai received an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. (magna cum laude) from New York University.

Nami Park Fund Accountant
As Fund Accountant, Ms. Park’s responsibilities include interfacing with third-party managers and ensuring timely and accurate property reports and budgets. In addition, she assists with audits and investor reporting. Prior to joining Jonathan Rose Companies, Ms. Park worked at PCCP, LLC (formerly Pacific Coast Capital Partners, LLC), a West Coast real estate finance and investment management firm. She was responsible for the accounting and financing functions for the PCCP Equity Platforms. Ms. Park also previously was a financial accountant at Kim & Lee, CPAs, working with commercial real estate clients in the public and private sectors. Ms. Park graduated Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music with a B.A. in Music and Business Management. She currently is pursuing her CPA.

Andrew Hacker Fund Accountant
Mr. Hacker is responsible for the funds financial reporting and controls. Prior to joining Jonathan Rose Companies, Mr. Hacker was an accounting manager at Centerline Capital Group where he was responsible for the accounting and reporting of 35 Low Income Housing Tax Credit Funds with investments in over 300 properties nationwide. Mr.Hacker also worked at Lehman Brothers where he managed the global occupancy control function. He was responsible for the preparation of the $500 million annual Corporate Real Estate budget and the monthly financial highlight package. Mr. Hacker graduated from SUNY Oswego with a B.S. in Business Administration and minor in Economics and got his M.B.A. in Accounting from St. John’s University.

Mitchell Grossman Asset Management Analyst
Mr.Grossman joined Jonathan Rose Companies in 2012. His primary responsibilities include property level financial analysis, and the building and maintenance of internal valuation models on both the property fund levels. Prior to joining the company, Mr.Grossman was involved in the acquisition, development, and management of commercial and residential properties in the New York Metro area through various entrepreneurial ventures. He graduated from Queens College with a BA in Economics, and earned an MBA with a concentration in Real Estate from Baruch College.

Alexandra Kaplan Project Coordinator
As Project Coordinator of the Investment Practice, Ms. Kaplan provides support to the investor relations, asset management, financial reporting and compliance functions of the firm's investment management business. This includes assisting with investor reporting, investor presentations, fundraising and data management. Ms. Kaplan graduated Cum Laude from Bryn Mawr College with a B.A. in the Growth and Structure of Cities and holds a Master's in City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania.

Theresa Bell Managing Partner, Romero Rose LLC (Albuquerque, New Mexico)
Ms. Bell is a commercial real estate broker and developer with expertise in acquisitions, asset management and mixed-use development with more than 20 years of experience. Ms. Bell is responsible for sourcing and managing projects in the Southwest. She is currently managing Jonathan Rose Companies’ Alvarado Transportation Downtown Albuquerque Redevelopment, a $50 million mixed-use development. Ms. Bell received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with degrees in both Finance and Real Estate from New Mexico State University. |

Charles J. Perry
Managing Partner, Perry Rose LLC
Mr.Perry is an authority in community-based planning and mixed-use, mixed-income infill real estate development with more than 30 years of real estate and planning experience. Mr.Perry is responsible for sourcing and managing projects in the Rock Mountain region. He developed award-winning green, mixed-use projects including Highland Garden Village, a model urban development in Denver. Mr.Perry was formerly a senior executive at the Denver Urban Renewal Authority and the Denver Planning Office. he holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Denver and a Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Planning from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a specialization in citizen participation and land-use planning.

Kristin Neil Ryan Director, Seattle Office
Ms.Ryan is the Director of Jonathan Rose Companies' Seattle Office, supervising the firm's development and consulting activities on the West Coast. She also provides asset management for the firm's West Coast portfolio, which includes office buildings in Seattle, WA and Portland,OR and mixed income housing in Portland and Berkeley, CA. Ms.Ryan previously served as Director of the Project Management practice in Jonathan Rose Companies' New York City office providing real estate advisory services for civic and not-for-profit institutions. In that role, she was active in the direct management of mixed use/mixed income projects, K-12 schools, and performing arts projects. Ms.Ryan graduated from Columbia Business School with an MBA in Finance & Economics and Real Estate in 2002. She received her BA from Yale University in 1993. She is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in New York and a LEED Accredited Professional.

Caroline Vary Director, Connecticut Office
Caroline Vary brings over 18 years of experience in design, construction, development, asset management, leasing and financing to her role as a Director of the Connecticut Office. Ms.Vary joined Jonathan Rose Companies in 2007 to lead development projects in the Connecticut regional office. She oversees all aspects of real estate development and construction, including: pre-development planning, due diligence activities, contract negotiations, oversight of consultants and contractors, coordination with partners as well as city and state government offices, reporting to lenders, community relations, coordination of marketing and leasing efforts and oversight of property management. Ms. Vary received a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Architecture with a focus on urban planning and renewal, as well as housing design from the Rhode Island School of Design. Ms. Vary is a member of Urban Land Institute (ULI) and is a frequent speaker at multiple trade related organizations in both New York and Connecticut.
