Owner's Representative—New York, New York

Irish Arts Center

After three decades of success, the Irish Arts Center (IAC) set a goal to expand and promote the very best arts and culture Ireland has to offer to a broader New York and American audience. The new home envisioned by the organization will be a first – class, state of the art facility that appropriately represents the Ireland and the historic contributions of Irish in America.

Jonathan Rose Companies Owner’s Representative is providing full real estate, strategic planning, and project management services to support IAC’s efforts to secure a city owned site where the new building will be erected and manage relationships with local developers and city agencies such as the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development and Department of Cultural Affairs. Jonathan Rose Companies has developed project budgets, schedules, and has assembled a local architect and consultant team in coordination with the Irish Office of Public Works who is leading the architectural design process.

Jonathan Rose Companies has also guided the Irish Arts Center and stakeholders through a strategic planning process to develop an economically sustainable project program. The current program includes a 199 seat performing arts space for live music, dance, theater, film festival screenings, special events and rental opportunities; a dance rehearsal and education studio; classrooms for music and language learning; a visual arts gallery and exhibition space; and a ground floor community/social café.
