570 Washington Street

570 Washington Street is a 176-unit, approximately 180,000 SF new construction affordable senior building located at 570 Washington Street New York, NY 10014 (Block 596 Lot 1103), within the West Village neighborhood. 570 Washington will be the first affordable development in the West Village in over 20 years and will bring much-needed senior housing to a desirable neighborhood in Manhattan that is adjacent to many community services and public parks. 570 Washington is part of a larger site plan that includes a 130-unit market-rate condo building.

The 17-story building will be concrete construction, with a thickened façade that will meet Zone Green requirements and will integrate seamlessly with the adjacent condo by sharing a similar façade materiality and rhythm. Designed by CookFox and SLCE, the Project will promote aging in place for seniors with 5,600 SF of modern amenity spaces including a community room with a warming kitchen, a health and wellness center, dedicated social service offices, meeting rooms, a computer room and library, and a fitness room. The building will also include on-site management, shared laundry facilities, and bike storage.
